Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for customer projects.

• Research and acquire resources needed to develop ASR & TTS engines. (Identify existing databases for ASR training use and negotiate terms and agreements with source.)
• Research and prepare lexicons for new planned languages (includes writing phonology rules for adults and children, mapping SAMPA/DARPAbet/IPA transcriptions to WorldBet, correcting and converting phonemic transcriptions to phonetic realizations, etc.)

Requirements and Preferences

• 1-5 years total job experience with demonstrated interest in linguistics, and project/product management.
• Fluency in at least one foreign language.
• Excellent understanding of phonological and phonetic concepts. Computer literate (windows, DOS) and experience with Microsoft applications.

Proven ability to develop BlueTooth HFKs is also desired. Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Developing BlueTooth reference designs for headsets and Hands-Free-Kits that integrate Sensory's speech recognition for value-added UI.
• BlueTooth application customer support - general system and SR UI-specific.
• Work with CSR and other BlueTooth chipset providers to influence their architectures to maximize Sensory value; also ensure our delivered solutions are compatible with their standard APIs and system architecture.

Ability to clearly document the operations of the technologies is a must, including original design specifications and content for users' manuals. Ideal candidates will be able to perform most, if not all duties with minimal supervision.

• Driving Sensory's speech recognition technology to be state of the art, including vocabulary size, noise robustness, fit on mobile platform resources, etc.
