Sensory Inc. Speech Recognition Solutions Hit CES in Bluetooth Headsets and More

Interest in Voice Interface for Consumer Electronics at an All Time High

Las Vegas, NV, Consumer Electronics Show (CES) - January 6, 2009 ...Sensory, Inc. today announces over a dozen companies at CES that are introducing products featuring Sensory’s leading speech recognition technologies for consumer electronics. From Bluetooth headsets and hands-free car kits to clock radios, remote controls and iPod docks, Sensory is simplifying and enriching the interaction between humans and consumer electronics products.

Visitors to CES can learn more about Sensory’s offering when CEO Todd Mozer discusses how the voice interface improves the user experience during the "Wii Shall Overcome: The Triumph of Simplicity and the Lessons We can Learn from Nintendo" panel session at CES. Moderated by Daniel Sieberg, science and technology correspondent for CBS News, Todd will be joined by experts from Google, TiVo and Smart Design for this Friday, January 9 panel at noon at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall N264.

New Products Enabled with Sensory’s Speech Technologies

During CES, Sensory’s speech recognition technology will be on display in booths while early previews of forthcoming products will be offered in backrooms or behind the closed doors of Las Vegas hotel suites. Over 20 devices with Sensory’s voice recognition and synthesis technology will be at CES. Those companies showing products include:

Sensory has been particularly successful in its launch of the BlueGenie Voice Interface ™ for Bluetooth headsets. BlueGenie allows the awkward button press sequences to be replaced by voice commands. Flashing lights and beeps are replaced by a pleasant sounding voice making BlueGenie equipped products both safer and more user friendly. Additionally, these products can be more feature rich because new features become more accessible with voice commands.

Last year’s CES saw the announcement of Sensory’s first BlueGenie customer, BlueAnt, with their V1 headset. Sensory now has over eight designs in process with its BlueGenie Voice Interface.
